Terra Firma
Consultants was established in 1999 to
provide QPII services in Nova Scotia. A "Qualified
Person" level 2 (QP
II) is an independent contractor who assists in the development and
planning of unserviced lots. A QPII will select the appropriate septic
system along with the placement of the system for each individual lot. A QPII also works directly with a surveyor when creating a
subdivision of
unserviced lots, which do not have access to municipal
sewer and water services.
Terra Firma Consultants is also qualified to
perform watercourse buffer zone site assessments as well as
wetland delineations. Nova Scotia has been developing and implementing rules
and regulations to preserve and protect the waterways and natural
wetlands. Terra Firma Consultants can provide the delineations
required when subdividing land, creating lots or building roads in the
area of wetlands.
Over the years, the rules and regulations are
modified and they change. Terra Firma Consultants is committed to being a
leader in its field and always staying ahead of the curve. Terra
Firma Consultants will help you achieve your goals.
Flow
Splitter Tee®
- delivers an even split every time!
The Flow
Splitter®
Tee came to existence after
seeing many homeowners pay thousands of dollars for replacement septic fields
when it could have been avoided.
The cost of a Flow
Splitter®
Tee
compared to the cost of a replacement field seems very beneficial to
the homeowner. A big problem with septic fields is that they are in
the ground and the ground heaves with the frost and settles with the thaw. Therefore it is hard to keep a pipe that is no shorter than 25 meters
in length level.
The Flow
Splitter® Tee will keep the
effluent
water flowing in the proper direction keeping the field in working order.
